"Fast & Furious 6" moves to England. The city center chase scene was shot in the area around Broomielaw, Cadogan Street and Wellington Street in Glasgow's International Financial Services District.
The scene that Diesel and Rodriguez dragged racing was filmed in Piccadilly Circus. Fast & Furious 6 is only the third production to be allowed to film there.
The film teared up Thames House and Lambeth Bridge with Kremlin spires in the background. The bridge is next to Westminster Bridge where you'll find the Houses of Parliament on the north and the London Eye on the South Bank.
The Interpol headquarter is actually the University College London (UCL) Senate building.
The exotic retirement place for Toretto & Brian and the real hard-core actions were filmed on the island of Tenerife, in the Canary Islands, which has "no extradition with the U.S.". Canary islands is Spanish archipelago located just off the northwest coast of mainland Africa. It has great weather all year round.
The island looks lovely, lush and tropical in the opening scenes of the trailer as an aerial shot pans over Garachico. From "Mirador de Garachico" located on TF-82, you can get a great panorama of the whole city. Down in the city there are natural swimming pools formed by lava. Also there are some nice cafe's and restaurants located directly at the seaside.
and then the traler shifts to Vin and Dwayne Johnson against an inviting backdrop of ruddy cliffs and swaying palms at San Juan de la Rambla, one of the most beautiful stretch of Tenerife’s coastline.
The windy and tight road on TF-445 from Buenavista to Punta de Tenoto was used for the opening racing scene the Dom's 2010 modified Challenger against O'Conner's Nissan GT-R. It is far from perfect road along Cliffs and the view is magnificent.
Nestled in the at the stark, arid mountains in the southern region of the Tenerife island, Autopista_TF-1 (east of Las Cristianos) was shot in the scene the custom-built Chieftain tank ran over uncounted number of cars.
Filming also took place on Gran Canaria, on the G2 motorway, in the section between El Pagador and Santa María de Guía, in the northern part of the island. One of Spain’s highest viaducts, the Puente (bridge) de Silva/Cuesta da Silva Viaduct, seduced the producers with its spectacular views.
